How usage costs work
Our plans cover the software: one flat price, every feature for your tier included. The phone number itself and your call/text usage are billed at real carrier rates by Twilio, directly to you (typically about a cent per minute for US calls and ~$1–2/month per number). Whether you bring existing numbers or buy new ones in the app, we never add a markup on usage.

Solo and Business differ by features, not by how many people you are. A one-person team can absolutely pick Business for the advanced features.

Pricing questions, answered
Is the trial really free?
Yes. 14 days of the Business plan with every feature, no credit card asked — not at signup and not to buy a number (Twilio bills those to you directly). If you decide not to continue, nothing is charged — your workspace simply pauses on day 14.
What's the difference between Solo and Business?
Features, not team size. Solo covers one person with all the calling, texting and voicemail essentials. Business adds team routing (ring groups, IVR, business hours), shared inboxes, roles, bulk SMS and more — and lets you add unlimited teammates at $9.99 each. A solo user who wants those features can pick Business too.
How does per-seat billing work on Business?
You pay $9.99/user per month (or $99/user per year) for each active person in your workspace. Add someone new and the seat is billed immediately, prorated for the rest of your billing period. Remove someone and their paid seat stays yours until your renewal — bring in a replacement and they take that seat free. At renewal you're billed only for the people actually on your team.
What happens after 14 days?
If you've added a card, Business starts automatically on day 14 — or Solo, if you picked it on the Billing page (you keep every feature until the trial ends either way). If not, your workspace pauses until you subscribe — nothing is charged, nothing is deleted, and your numbers stay yours.
What if a payment fails later?
Your service keeps running for 7 days from the renewal date while the card is retried and we email you. If it still has not gone through after those 7 days, the account pauses until you update the card — your data is kept.
Can I cancel anytime?
Always. No contracts, no cancellation fees. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your numbers stay yours (they live on your own Twilio account).
How will RingIgnite appear on my statement?
Charges from your RingIgnite subscription show as "Same Edge Inc" — our parent company. Twilio (which bills your phone-number and usage separately) appears as its own line item from Twilio.
