Terms of Service
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Same Edge Inc., the developer of RingIgnite. By creating an account or using RingIgnite, you agree to them. We've kept them as readable as possible.
1. What RingIgnite is
RingIgnite is a software platform for business calling and texting. It connects to your own Twilio account and gives you a complete phone system on web and mobile: calls, SMS, voicemail, recordings, phone-number management and a shared team inbox.
RingIgnite is an independent product of Same Edge Inc. and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Twilio Inc.
2. Your Twilio account and usage costs
The service operates on top of a Twilio account that belongs to you. You are responsible for that account, for keeping it in good standing, and for complying with Twilio's own terms and acceptable-use policies.
Usage charges — call minutes, text messages and monthly phone-number rental — are billed by Twilio directly to you at Twilio's rates. RingIgnite does not add any markup to your usage, and our fees (when introduced) cover the software only.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use RingIgnite to:
- send spam or unsolicited marketing messages;
- make robocalls or automated dialing campaigns;
- harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone;
- break any law, including telemarketing and messaging laws that apply to you and to the people you contact (for example, US TCPA rules and do-not-call registries);
- attempt to access other customers' data or probe the security of the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we may report unlawful activity where required.
4. No emergency calling
RingIgnite is not a replacement for a traditional phone line and does not support emergency calls (such as 911, 112 or 100). Always keep an alternative way to reach emergency services.
5. Your account and your team
Keep your login credentials safe — you are responsible for activity under your account. If you invite teammates, you (as the workspace Admin) choose what they can access and are responsible for their use of your workspace and your Twilio account. Grant Admin rights only to people you fully trust.
6. Fees and billing
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial of the Business plan. No credit card is required during the trial, and nothing is charged during it. When the trial ends, your account is paused unless you have added a card; no charge is made for a paused trial. If you add a card, the Business plan starts on the day the trial ends unless you have chosen the Solo plan from the Billing page (choosing Solo during the trial keeps every feature until the trial ends, then Solo applies). Plans: the Solo plan at $5/month (or $48/year) for a single user, and the Business plan at $9.99 per user/month (or $99 per user/year) for teams. Subscriptions are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time and will keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Twilio usage — call minutes, SMS, and phone-number rental — is always billed separately by Twilio at their standard carrier rates (see section 2); we do not add any markup, and you may buy numbers on your own Twilio account during the trial without a card on RingIgnite.
Seats on Business: each person in your workspace is a seat. A seat added during a billing period is charged immediately, prorated for the remainder of that period. A removed seat is not refunded or credited; it remains available to you until your next renewal, and a replacement teammate can take it at no extra charge. At each renewal you are billed for the seats in use on that day.
Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, your service continues for a grace period of 7 days from the renewal date while we retry the card and notify you. If payment has not succeeded by the end of the grace period, the account is paused until a valid card is added; your data is retained.
On your statement: subscription charges from RingIgnite will appear on your bank or card statement as Same Edge Inc, the parent company that develops and operates RingIgnite. Twilio usage charges appear separately as their own line item from Twilio.
7. Your content
Your contacts, messages, recordings and other data belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Identity documents. If a country requires an identity or address document to issue a phone number, any file you submit is forwarded directly to the telecom carrier that performs the check and is never stored on our systems. You confirm you are entitled to submit the document and that the information is accurate; the carrier, not RingIgnite, decides whether the number is approved.
8. Account deletion and termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger zone → Delete account inside the app, or by emailing support@ringignite.com. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your data is erased as described in the Privacy Policy, and it cannot be recovered. Your Twilio account and phone numbers are unaffected — they remain yours.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users or the service. Where reasonable, we will notify you first.
9. Service provided as is
We work hard to keep RingIgnite reliable, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Call and message delivery depend on your internet connection and on third-party carriers, which are outside our control, and the service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond us.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Same Edge Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (such as lost profits or lost business) arising from your use of RingIgnite. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and highlight meaningful changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use RingIgnite after a change means you accept the updated terms.
