Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
RingIgnite ("we", "us") is developed by Same Edge Inc. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use RingIgnite, why we collect it, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account and data at any time.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address and password when you sign up. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see or store them in plain text.
Phone system connection details. When you connect your Twilio account, we store your account identifier, the phone numbers you manage through RingIgnite, and the credentials needed to operate them. Sensitive credentials are kept server-side in restricted storage — they are never sent to your browser and are never visible to other users.
Communications data you create. Contacts you save, call history, text message content, voicemails, call recordings and voicemail greetings. This data exists so the product can work — it is yours.
Support data. Messages and optional attachments you send to support, with a ticket number.
Service logs. Minimal technical logs, such as a record of transactional emails we send you (used for abuse prevention and rate limiting).
2. How we use your information
We use your information only to run RingIgnite for you: placing and receiving your calls and texts through your own Twilio account, showing your history and voicemails, sending you transactional emails (like voicemail-to-email, missed-call alerts, team invitations and support confirmations), answering your support requests, and keeping the service secure.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your communications for marketing.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers, strictly to operate the product:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication and file storage.
- Twilio — carries your calls and text messages. Because RingIgnite runs on your own Twilio account, your communications travel under your direct relationship with Twilio.
- Resend — delivers our transactional emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law. There are no other recipients.
4. Team workspaces
If you invite teammates (or join someone's workspace), shared workspace data — such as the shared inbox, call history and contacts — is visible to workspace members according to the permissions the workspace Admin sets. Admins control each teammate's access to calling, texting, inbox visibility and contacts.
5. Security
All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Every account's data is isolated with database-level security rules, so one customer can never read another's data. Phone-system credentials are held in restricted server-side storage accessible only to our backend services.
6. Identity documents for phone-number verification
Some countries legally require a one-time identity or address check before a phone number can be issued (for example, a passport or a utility bill). When a number you want needs this, RingIgnite shows a verification form.
We do not store your documents. Any file you attach is transmitted directly from your browser, through our server's memory, straight to the telecom carrier (Twilio) that performs the legally required check. The file is never written to our database or file storage — there is no copy on our systems to retain, leak, or delete. Once submitted, your document lives only with the carrier, under the same regulatory framework that governs your phone number.
The information you type into the form (such as your name and address) is kept only as needed to track your verification's status and is removed when you delete your account.
7. Data retention and account deletion
We keep your data only while your account exists.
You can delete your account yourself, at any time: log in, open Profile → Danger zone → Delete account, and confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your profile, contacts, call history, messages, recordings and voicemails, templates, scheduled messages, team memberships, phone-system connection settings and stored credentials are all erased and cannot be recovered.
Your Twilio account, your phone numbers and your billing relationship with Twilio are not affected — they belong to you and remain fully under your control.
You may also email support@ringignite.com to request deletion and we will carry it out for you.
8. Cookies, local storage and analytics
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember basic app preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
To understand how the product is used and to improve it, we use two analytics services: Google Analytics (page views and usage statistics) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised interaction data such as clicks, scrolling and session replays). These services set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies (Google, Microsoft). We never send them the content of your calls, texts, voicemails or contacts.
9. Children
RingIgnite is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date. Meaningful changes will be highlighted in the app or by email.
