Call forwarding to your mobile or any phone
Forward your business calls to your mobile, or any other phone. Let the app ring first, or send every call straight through — for all your lines, or just one.
Included in every plan and in the 14-day free trial. The owner and managers can set it up.
Tip: tap full screen to watch — the text is easier to read.
Why teams use it
Your calls, on any phone.
Forward when you don't answer
The app rings for about 20 seconds, then your other phone rings.
Or always forward
Every call skips the app and goes straight to your other phone.
Know who's calling
When a forwarded call reaches your phone, you hear which line it's for and who's calling. Press any key to take it.
The caller's own number
Your phone shows the caller's own number.
Voicemail still catches it
If you don't take it, the caller can leave a voicemail in RingIgnite.
One line can differ
Settings is the default for all your lines. One line can have its own forwarding in Numbers → Set up — and it always wins.

Three steps
How it works
- 1
Step 1
Pick how calls forward
Open Settings, then "Call forwarding". "Off" rings only the app, "Forward when I don't answer" rings the app about 20 seconds first, and "Always forward" skips the app.

What you pick here is the default for all your lines. - 2
Step 2
Type your other number
Type the other phone number with the country code, like +14155550123. Then click "Save forwarding settings".

Forwarded calls show the caller's own number. - 3
Step 3
One line, its own way
On Numbers, click "Set up", then "Forwarding for this number". "Workspace default" follows Settings — any other choice is just for that line, and it always wins.

Back in Settings, a box shows which lines have their own forwarding.
Questions
Can I forward calls to my cell or another number?
Yes. In Settings → Call forwarding choose "Forward when I don't answer" (the app rings about 20 seconds first) or "Always forward" (calls skip the app), and type the number with its country code. That's the default for all your lines — to change just one line, open Numbers → Set up → "Forwarding for this number"; the line's own choice always wins. The forwarded phone hears which line the call is for and who's calling, and presses any key to take it; it shows the caller's own number. If nobody takes it, the caller can leave a voicemail in RingIgnite. Twilio charges the forwarded part of a call by the minute.
What happens when I miss a call?
The caller hears your voicemail greeting (text-to-speech or your own recorded audio) and can leave a message. You'll see the missed call in your history and can get an email for every missed call and every new voicemail, with a button to listen in RingIgnite.
Can I set business hours and after-hours handling?
Yes (Business plan). Set open/closed times per day in your timezone, and choose what after-hours callers get — straight to voicemail, or forwarded to an on-call number. Outside your hours, callers are handled automatically.
